Cloud 9 Surfing Area

The world-famous reef break that made Siargao a surfing pilgrimage, with its iconic boardwalk reaching out over the reef for watching, photos and golden-hour crowds. The wave is a powerful right-hander best left to experienced surfers, but beginners learn on gentler nearby breaks. Early mornings bring the cleanest conditions. Best for: experienced surfers after the barrel, and everyone else for the boardwalk and sunset.
