Hundred Caves

One of Palawan's best-kept secrets and the province's first caving site, this kilometer-wide system in Barangay Tagabinet is run by the local Tagabinet Neighborhood Tourism Association. After a short jungle trek to an entrance 80 meters up, knowledgeable guides lead you through multi-storied, interconnected passages glittering with stalactites, flowstones and cave pearls. Choose the easygoing regular route or a tighter, more adventurous special tour; headlamps and gloves are provided. Best for: curious explorers wanting a hands-on, crowd-free alternative to the famous Underground River.
