Hanging Coffins of Sagada

The Hanging Coffins of Sagada are one of the most distinctive sights in the Cordillera highlands — wooden coffins suspended on cliff faces in Echo Valley, a Igorot tradition that placed the dead closer to the ancestors and the sky.
