Magpupungko Tidal Pool

At low tide the receding sea reveals a large, crystal-clear natural rock pool at Magpupungko in Pilar, deep enough for swimming and cliff jumping against a backdrop of dramatic boulders, about an hour north of General Luna. Timing is everything: come at low tide or the pool disappears under the waves. Best for: travelers who plan around the tide chart and want a wild, photogenic swim and jump.
